it's the time of the year again.

hugh jackman was good as the host. he's a musical man, after all.
the stage design refers to the 1930 era. hmm....ironic, isn't it? that was also the time when the great depression happened. just like what we're having now.
so perhaps we'll have some Busby Berkeley-like films these years. yeah~

love the way they presented the acting categories. just seeing those five great actresses standing on the same stage was amazing. and they even had joel grey!! the emcee from cabaret! cried when i saw them standing together, cried for heath.

so far it's been a wonderful oscar night. except my over-microwaved popcorn...
and i will go to see slum dog millionaire. way to go mr. boyle.
