as a pet. we feed her bugs and water,
but she just wants to get out of the box.
oh....the lizard's life is another metaphor,,,,oh ....

i opened the box and let her go.
she lept out of the box, without hasitation.
without looking back.

Umm, you told me that if I live a life academically it'll be too hard (harsh) to myself (to be so reflexive). Maybe to live a life metaphorically isn't a good choice, either.
it's actually a description of what's happening in the office. somehow i just had a very kafka-nesque moment...
