Trance

by Danny Boyle

Goya, witches in the air.  the painting reminds me of macbeth.  it kept me thinking if mcavoy was approached to play macbeth when he was shooting this film .

so human are made of memory, everyday we strive to keep ourselves remember who we are, and the lost of this bit of memory could be fatal.  and the bit about forgetting things, that we don't really forget, we just keep a secret, even to ourselves.

so memory can be altered, fabricated, hinted.  so no one, not evenyourself, can be trusted.

too many metaphor and symbols

wibbly wobbly story telling ....

yet the cinematography and music and images were so fascinating, that the whole film feels like a trance experience.

and mcavoy and cassel were fab.
