青梅竹馬

小時候或許看過，但是沒什麼印象了。
今日重看才發現，那是我的前幾個世代的台北物語。
又讀過評論從這部電影看國族定位，確實也是有這樣的痕跡。
許多屬於戒嚴時期的符號與歷史事件，比方威廉波特，比方那些總統府和景福門張燈結彩的牌樓，還有一心做著美國夢的年輕男女。
沒有未來，不知道要做什麼，似乎是在台灣這座島嶼上成長的人難以脫下的包袱。
Everything is temporarily, on hold.
Even for the main couple in the film, who grew up together and knew each other for a life time,
Yet the relationship is just, bits and pieces of their imaginations and compromises .
A film about our history.
A film that still stands true at the present time.
