actually, it's more like a fight club sort of thing. in the beginning, when you see you person encountering another, it's actually a conversation inside his head.
she's angry, and unsatisfied with the life she's living. she confront the other as if saying" how did i become what i am now?" she tried to escape, but she's restrained. so finally she got some help with novocaine, and felt numb.
in the end of the dance, she has finally break through in the last chorus, and bid farewell to the partner/self.
